Although this old photo is captioned "stone foot bridge," if you look
closely, it actually looks like the stone structure in the upper
right-hand corner is a dam.
The stonework that was excavated below looks like the dam and spillway
from the photo above. The pool in the photo is another of the
pools (upper pool) that made up the Vale of Cashmere.
